London Calling

Today I'm wearing a few of my favorites: boots, floral dress, boyfriend blazer …ahhhh quite all right with me! I'm rocking this dress courtesy of my friend Liis-- this dress came all the way from her closet in London. I am so excited that spring is here and the more florals the better! You can’t see the back of this dress but it’s simply divine and features one of my favorite parts about the dress-- it's tied in the back with a big girly bow. I just scooped these boots up on super clearance... Love that!! I’ve been living in them since I’ve gotten them too... the leather is so buttery soft... Filling my arm up with loads of bangles and bracelets brings me such joy, I feel like a little girl playing dress up. A little girl playing dress up... yup that’s pretty much my life!

See ya beauties! RR

Coffee Date

The first day in spring that I decide to wear shorts with bare legs and no tights and of course a cold front in L.A. comes through!!! Just my luck!! I’m wearing a pair of cutoffs I thrifted from a little spot nearby in Silver Lake for $8 bucks-- a total steal... I can tell these use to be jeans that became someones DYI project... Lucky for me they fit me perfectly!

A newest favorite item of mine which I picked up last week at work is this extremely long, paper thin cardigan.. I right away knew this would become a wardrobe staple at Coachella this year over shorts and swimsuits. For a pop of color I'm donning a green jade vintage necklace given to me by my Grandmother (the clasp is my favorite part which unfortunately you can't see but it’s a silver lotus flower) which makes this outfit perfect for a coffee date with my beau at our fave spot less than a mile from our lil' bungalow in Hollywood.

I hear tomorrow is going to be another cold one so no shorts for this diva! Cheers xx

What I Wore:

Blouse: Calvin Klein

Jean Shorts: Thrifted

Cardigan: Marciano

Green Jade Necklace: Vintage

Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Lovely lilac

In celebration of spring, I decided to dress for the occasion in this spring-has-sprung lilac vintage frock. I always feel especially girly and feminine when I wear it. I found this dress at an art gallery opening that I attended in Orlando, Florida. There was a little booth set up with some vintage goodies and I scored this fab frock for less than 20 bucks! The mornings are cold here in L.A. so I accompanied it with some tights and wooden mules for a subtly romantic vibe. I am also in love love LOVE with this jean jacket-- I’m really digging the whole denim trend right now… I love mixing prints and fabrics in nonconventional ways for unpredictable refreshing twists!

Happy Spring Everyone !!

What I’m wearing:

Jean Jacket: Guess
Grey opaque tights: Target

Acid Wash

This little gem of a dress I happened to find at work one day on my lunch break (love having a store onsite at the office). It was just hanging on the rack all by itself and I snatched it up without hesitating. This season I have been a huge fan of denim and who doesn’t love acid wash! It reminds me so much of the 80’s-- but in a good way; not the overly cheesy Madonna-inspired era.

I truly heart all things denim and when it comes to different ways of wearing it I am all about it! The denim on denim fad caught on very quickly this season-- it's being seen on the runways and out on the street. What use to be a fashion faux-pas is now a total 100 percent bona fide hot trend.
I am a total jeans babe always have been always will be; must be that hippy chic nature I inherited from my hippie Dad!

–PEACE, LOVE and DENIM xx

Acid Wash Denim Dress: Guess
Knee High Socks: American Apparel
Wooden Wedges: Steve Madden

Clearly Cool

Originally popular in the 1940's in ladies purses and jewelry, Lucite was seen all throughout the 2010 Fashion Week in a plethora of shoes and accessories. This playful plastic was developed by DuPont in 1937 and may be once again proving its relevance to fashion at this moment in history.

Fendi, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Burberry all came out to play giving us some truly marvelous fashion goodies.Whatever your poison may be in the accessories department: shoes, purses or jewelry; Lucite is in, its here and don’t be shy! Introduce your extremities to a new trend this spring!
Picturing these delights worn with airy springtime florals and neutrals is just about enough to make me jump on this translucent bandwagon. Stack up an arm full of Lucite bangles in assorted colors for an on-point festive spring-has-sprung look.Sport a Lucite tote for a night out; but be considerate that the contents of the clutch be equally chic as well...

Sequined Luvah

Waking up at 7:30 a.m. 5 days a week is a total bummer, even when you work in fashion and truly have a passion for fashion as I do… but nothing perks me up quite like a sequined body suit. I paired it with a pair of tres fab skinny jeans. These are my absolute favorite jeans of the moment. I got them a few months ago and they are so soft and super stretchy. They are pretty much what you call jeggings (aka jean leggings)… total love at first sight
