Clearly Cool

Originally popular in the 1940's in ladies purses and jewelry, Lucite was seen all throughout the 2010 Fashion Week in a plethora of shoes and accessories. This playful plastic was developed by DuPont in 1937 and may be once again proving its relevance to fashion at this moment in history.

Fendi, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Burberry all came out to play giving us some truly marvelous fashion goodies.Whatever your poison may be in the accessories department: shoes, purses or jewelry; Lucite is in, its here and don’t be shy! Introduce your extremities to a new trend this spring!
Picturing these delights worn with airy springtime florals and neutrals is just about enough to make me jump on this translucent bandwagon. Stack up an arm full of Lucite bangles in assorted colors for an on-point festive spring-has-sprung look.Sport a Lucite tote for a night out; but be considerate that the contents of the clutch be equally chic as well...
